We have been receiving donations from Highgate staples Greens of Highgate and Limone. At the end of their hard days work we have been given their end of day produce, which has been of a very high quality.
This food has been going to families we directly support and then onto the Pillion Trusts homeless shelter The Crashpad and The Ringcross Community Centre. On Tuesday nights we send the produce down to our South London food bank.
This support has been a game changer for us, enabling us to provide fresh produce for families who otherwise receive tinned goods and cupboard stock. Fresh food is vital for mental health, stress relief, healthy bones and muscles by providing the vitamins and minerals needed to leave a healthy lifestyle.
