Our most recent venture saw us heading to Somerset House for an ice session with the lovely people from The Crashpad homeless shelter.
Facilitated by a staff member who kindly donated tickets to us for the skate session, we headed down to Somerset House to practise our best moves. 'It was such a lovely time,' remarked Lindsey of the evening, 'and of course, the setting was beautiful too. All lit up and with the snowflake lighting across the ice you really got a sense of magic. Everyone took part. In our Crashpad group was a lovely young man with a broken leg, but Somerset House were so accommodating, seeking out a wheelchair for him to use and two lovely Ice Marshals pushed him around the ice so he could join the fun. It was a real New Year treat.'
